$3 Billion in EV losses in a single year… In what world is this sustainable?

“Ford has said it expects to lose $3 billion on EV’s this year as it works to double Mach-E and triple F-150 Lightning production.”

“Ford already revealed it had lost $2.1 billion making EV’s last year (2022), for a total loss of $6 billion since 2021.”

Ford may be offsetting its EV losses with the profits made on the internal combustion side of its business. Still, as the Dearborn-based automaker continues gearing up for an all-EV future its ship appears to be taking on a lot of water.
