My name is Mike McGlothlin and this is my publication. After growing up around diesels (and following the realization that writing was my true calling), I got my feet wet in the industry by working for Diesel Power Magazine right out of college. Upon taking a job on the retail side of the industry in 2014, I learned firsthand what the business end of the market was like. In 2016, I returned to writing and photography. Over the past decade, I’ve been a regular feature and technical article contributor to publications such as Diesel World Magazine, DrivingLine.com, Four Wheeler Magazine and the late Ultimate Diesel Builder’s Guide.
Green Handle Media is my outlet to continue doing what I love to do most: bring you breaking news from around the diesel industry, highlight new products, test parts, visit the dyno and share my findings, cover the biggest events, and review (and opine on) the latest trucks from The Big Three. With more than 15 years invested in diesel performance and enough OEM contacts to get the inside scoop, I feel I have my finger on the pulse of the industry.
