OBS Ford Cummins Swap DJ Enforcer Diesel Engine F250 Firepunk Dyno

It’s no secret that Firepunk Diesel is the playground for power in the diesel industry. UCC competitors, KOS entrants, ODSS champions, and others often stop in here to take a stab at getting on the company’s chassis dyno leader board. Recently, Steven Giordano’s Cummins-swapped ’94.5 Ford F-250 showed up to dial in a fresh set of Dynomite 450-percent over injectors and go after 2,000-rwhp on fuel. Equipped with a D&J Enforcer 6.7L, Exergy 14mm and 12mm CP3’s, VS Racing 85/104mm and Forced Inductions 114/118mm compounds and a built 48RE, the truck cleared 1,850 hp on fuel before the nitrous bottles were turned on. Then, with the help of two .110 jets, Steven’s OBS cleared 2,271 hp—the second highest number ever recorded on Firepunk’s rollers.

If You Can Dream It, Wagler Can Build It

Wagler Competition Products Water To Air Intercooler Diesel Truck Pulling

From raw materials to sled-ready, Wagler Competition Products can produce the parts to take you further in the dirt and quicker down the drag strip. Last week, the folks in Odon, Indiana, produced this work of art, a custom, full floater style, double stack water-to-air intercooler. These compact, billet-aluminum pieces can be built-to-order—with any inlet or outlet size—to fit virtually any application. And in addition to the visual wow-factor it brings to the table, functionality is king. Even in two-stage, triple-turbo configurations, these highly-efficient units can drop intake air temps from 700+ degrees to 70 degrees F—perfect for maximizing horsepower.

2015 Ram 2500 Emissions On Diesel Performance 6.7L Cummins WC Fab

As proof that you can still party while staying emissions-compliant, Wehrli Custom Fabrication teamed up with Douglas Bull of Straightline Automotive on this 700hp ’15 Ram project. With the help of Douglas’s friend, Reese Weaver, the following parts list gave him the cleanest 700 ponies possible. For power: Exergy 30-percent over injectors and 10mm CP3, FASS 165-gph lift pump, Stainless Diesel 63/67mm Boss drop-in VGT, WC Fab intake kit and air box, Smeding Diesel intake horn with grid heater delete and intercooler, 5-inch DPF-back Banks Power exhaust. For cooling: WC Fab upper coolant pipe and Fleece Performance Engineering coolant bypass. For support: ARP head studs, 104-lb valve springs, HD push rods, billet rocker bridges, Pointblank Performance valve cover with Vibrant catch can, and a RevMax-built 68RFE.

Minimal Upgrades—820 HP At The Wheels

L5P Duramax Diesel Chassis Dyno Testing Stealth Turbo Upgrade

All In Truck Performance has been hard at it testing the ’24-’25 L5P Duramax platform as of late. Things got started by gleaning 668-rwhp out of their test mule on tuning alone and then progressed to 733-rwhp (1,382 lb-ft) thanks to a drop-in, 67mm Stealth turbo from Calibrated Power Solutions. At that point it was discovered the stock injectors had nothing left to give—nothing a set of 200-percent over Exergy injectors and a 12mm CP3 couldn’t solve. When testing resumed, the guys at AITP found another 87 ponies before wisely capped things off at 820-rwhp (1,543 lb-ft) due to the truck’s drive-to-boost pressure ratio approaching 2:1. With further air side mods (as well as some 10L1000 hard parts), don’t be surprised when they clear the four-digit mark with this beast.

Off-Season Moves

Steven Robbins Gears Up For ’26

Dodge Ram Cummins Diesel Engine Swap Quad Cab Third Gen Drag Race Truck

The 2025 ODSS circuit might’ve been his rookie season, but Steven Robbins is already knee-deep in his planned off-season upgrades. His four-door Dodge—the Rowdy’s Automotive & Motorsports-backed third-gen that propelled him to a Fifth Place finish in the ODSS 6.70 Index points chase this year—is awaiting an engine swap. The new heart? A deck plate 6.7L Cummins from Wagler Competition Products. We’re not sure if Steven will be bumping up to 5.70 Index in 2026 or just building one of the most bulletproof 6.70 contenders in the field, but either way you can bet he has his sights set on winning a championship.
