Durability Defined: 60+ Passes At 2,500+ HP
Proof that Wagler Competition Products has one of the best race engine programs in the country, a champion is crowned at the King Of The Street Challenge, and a new VP44 record could be on the horizon.
As if you needed more proof that Wagler Competition Products has one of the best diesel engine race programs in the country, there is Nick Bell’s 2025 testimony. Not only did his billet-aluminum Cummins make 64 trouble-free passes through the ‘660 this year, but all of them were made with 2,500 hp or more on tap. Thanks to S&S Diesel Motorsport, MoTeC, Hot Shot’s Secret, Rossler Transmissions, Neal Chance Racing Converters, and Ben Shadday on the keyboard, Nick was able to park his Wagler-powered third-gen on the podium in the Outlaw Diesel Super Series, ultimately finishing third in the Super Diesel class points chase.

King Of The Street

Ever since Matthew Parker’s 8-second Cummins received national attention, he’s been proving his truck—and his race program—is no joke. After we saw what Matthew did at UCC/ODR in the Seventy 2 Fast class (he took the runner-up spot) we were believers, too. Fast-forward to King Of The Street and his common-rail second-gen showed up a well-rounded, battle-hardened force. At this year’s K.O.S. challenge, Matthew and Team Texas laid down an impressive 2,270 hp on the dyno, made a 3.2-second pass in the dirt drags, went 306 feet in the truck pull, completed the street drive without issue, and ended up taking home the crown. Other highlights included Steven Giordano clearing an insane 2,887 hp on the rollers, Chris Patterson making 2,551 hp, Robby Garcia joining the 3,000hp club, and Tyler Saffell taking the heads-up drag race win.
Thrashing To Make FP Truck Fest

The thrash is on to get O-Line pieced back together in time for FP Truck Fest 4.0 this weekend. The Super Stock Cummins that endured a fiery finish at the Scheid Diesel Extravaganza has been under the knife since late August, but now that all the parts have been rounded up and the block is back from machine work at Wagler Competition Products it’s assembly time. Expect O-Line to be complete by mid-week—triple Stainless Diesel 107mm turbos and billet Fair Valley Performance Sigma pump included—and in route to Jamestown, Tennessee by Thursday at the latest. There, you’ll find it parked in one of the largest booths at the event.

Prepping For The VP44 World Record

Drew Carter owns the quickest 1/8-mile fuel-only pass for a 4×4 VP44-equipped Cummins, but that’s not good enough. His new goal is to put his 6.26-second record ET behind him and go after the overall VP44 record currently owned by Chris Parker (a 5.91-second 1/8-mile). To get there, Drew called in the experts at Loganbuilt Transmission & Race Fab for a 48RE that’s up to the task of helping him achieve his goal. The fortified four-speed sports a Goerend Transmission bolt-together converter, a full manual valve body, a trans-brake and, after finding the limits of a Sonnax 23-spline billet input shaft, a Goerend 35-spline billet input shaft. Stay tuned…
Closing Out 2025 With One Last Win

Jeremy Stickney didn’t simply park his ’04 Dodge in the garage following his 6.70 Index championship in the Outlaw Diesel Super Series. Rather, he’s been staying sharp by winning the 6.70 class at the NHRDA World Finals but also by beating up on the locals at his hometown track. Not surprisingly, he visited his local drag strip over the weekend and collected yet another win. Now, with the 2025 season officially in the books, the two-time reigning 6.70 champion can put his winter upgrade plans to work. So how does Jeremy plan to make it three 6.70 ODSS championships in a row in 2026? We don’t know all the details, but we can tell you his plans entail larger nitrous solenoids.
