This 2,100HP Third-Gen Cummins Is For Sale—But NOT On Sale
Chris Naudain’s dyno-melting third-gen may change hands, a pair of Seventy 2 Fast builds profiled, and some major players hit the hub dyno at S&S.
De-tuned to run 6.70 Index or turned up to the tune of 2,100+ hp, Chris Naudain’s ’06 Dodge is one of the most formidable trucks to hit the diesel scene in recent years—and now he’s entertaining the idea of selling it. Under the hood, you’ll find a D&J Precision Machine Enforcer series Cummins fueled by 400-percent over Exergy Performance injectors and boost-fed via an 88mm Garrett/110mm Forced Inductions combination. The deck-plated Cummins is fine-tuned by Firepunk and backed by a 48RE built at CG Diesel Performance Transmission. It’s a proven recipe that nearly earned Chris two ODSS championships in 2025, and that gave him the 6.70 Index win last summer in Indianapolis—on an incredible 6.700-second pass.
Seventy 2 Fast Build Updates
V-8 #1: Kill Devil Diesel’s 6.7L PSD

Without question, the Duramax camp is going to be a force at the Seventy 2 Fast race in June, but what about the Fords? Kill Devil Diesel, the premier headquarters for cutting-edge 7.3L, 6.0L, 6.4L, and 6.7L Power Strokes, is bringing this monster to the $100,000 race. The goal? Squeeze 1,200 to 1,300 hp through a single VS Racing 72mm turbo on fuel. The 6.7L Power Stroke will boast the company’s Delta Series CNC ported heads (with billet intake plenums and maximized exhaust ports), an application-specific camshaft to work in harmony with a Jesel Pro Steel rocker valvetrain with solid lifter inserts, a reverse rotation CP3 gear drive system in conjunction with S&S DCR, and an engine built with steel pistons, Wagler rods, billet main caps with P1 main studs, a KDD girdle, and ARP head studs. The exotic 6.7L is currently under the hood of KC Turbos’ record-setting (6.0L) Super Duty known as “Lucky.” Get the full scoop on his wild engine combo right here.
V-8 #2: Mikie Carrasco’s L5P Duramax

Mikie Carrasco is no stranger to the capabilities of the L5P Duramax. In fact, he owns the quickest factory sealed L5P on the planet at the present time—a 1,300 hp crew cab 4×4 Silverado that’s been low 10’s in the quarter-mile and 6.50’s in the eighth. Taking what he’s learned with his own L5P, Mikie and his father, Michael, are building an L5P-powered late-model regular cab ¾-ton Silverado for the Seventy 2 Fast class. Lightweight and low 6’s are the game plan, and some of the best names in the business are on board, including All In Truck Performance, Exergy Performance, Goerend Transmission, Hot Shot’s Secret, Wehrli Custom Fabrication, and AirDog. After the race in Indy, Mikie plans to bury the stock L5P record with the truck…
L5P-Powered Chevelle

Word is definitely out on the L5P Duramax. Internally, it’s tough as nails. And it also happens to come with the highest flowing heads ever employed on a Duramax. Out on the West Coast, Rick Fletes—owner of the Duramax-powered (8-second) ’70 Chevelle—is also interested in pushing the limits of the L5P platform. And judging by the teaser pics he posted on social media, he might be parking GM’s newest Duramax in another muscle car… This one will power customer Darrin McDowell’s ’71 Chevelle, and you’ll find it parked in the AirDog booth at the Ultimate Callout Challenge.
On The Hub Dyno
Paul Cato And Michael Cordova Play 7,000 RPM Games At S&S

It didn’t take long for the fastest man in diesel to bolt the quickest compression ignition vehicle in existence to the new Mainline hub dyno at S&S Diesel Motorsport. And along with Michael Cordova’s 3-second rail making a 7,000-rpm pull, Paul Cato’s second-gen nearly did the same, with a rowdy 4,500 to 6,900 rpm sweep. After gracing his D&J Cummins with a brand-new fuel system over the winter—and in working with S&S calibration wizards, Andre Dusek and Ryan Reiser—Paul’s new setup makes an incredible 1,000 more usable horsepower than it used to. Putting the new power curve to use in the real-world, Paul wasted no time hitting the track, where last year’s ODSS Pro Truck champion ran a new personal best 60-foot (a break-neck 1.18) and ‘330 time over the weekend…
